LittleBigPlanet players eager on getting new stickers will be pleased to know that Wipeout HD® themed stickers are coming soon.
After receiving his game save back from Media Molecule, PSN user brnxblze yesterday told us about the upcoming costume items he could steakily (steakily!?) sneakily see in his new data, fresh from Media Molecule towers.
brnxblze has since notified us of another new item in his pop-it inventory - Wipeout HD® stickers. Nine of them infact!

Oooooooh
The Wipeout HD® costume pack is out on Thursday this week across Japan, Europe and North America. Until now, it was thought that the pack included just the four costumes, but it’s now clear that the stickers will also be available, either in with the costumes, or in a seperate pack. Could this be a Wipeout level pack? Or just an extra special costume pack?
The ‘Sack it to me’ update on the Official PlayStation Blog tomorrow should give us the full details on just exactly what costumes, stickers and other goodies will be hitting the PSN Store on Thursday. We’re hoping for the new free Bumblebee costume, the Wipeout HD® costume and/or Sticker pack and maybe, just maybe - that Sepiroth costume ![]()
[UPDATE]
The ‘Sack it to me’ update is now up, and it is revealed that these nine stickers are included as a bonus with the costumes. Yay!
UK based interior wall sticker shop, Supernice still has 7 days to go on its pre-Christmas guaranteed delivery. So, if you're getting a bit carried away with all those stickers in LBP, why not pick up some of the most awesome stickers for your bedroom/lounge/kitchen!?
If you didn't know, Supernice stock vinyl stickers that simply peel on (and off) regular household walls. They're reusable too. What's more, their sticker ranges include designs from some of the downright funkiest graphic designers around. They even have sticker collections from legendary online T-Shirt retailer Threadless, plus Donkey Kong and Mario designs from Nintendo!
Now of course, if we were Sony (and we're not, by the way), we'd have been talking to retailers like Supernice for some time now, getting all those gorgeous in game assets from superstar graphic design Rex Crowle on to some vinyl wall art and out in to the shops.
Wink-wink, nudge-nudge fellas.
Following on the the PlayStation Japan site revealing next weeks festive DLC, the PlayStation Asia site has let the cat out of the bag, letting everyone know that on Dec 16th the Festive Goodies pack will be available:

Here comes the Christmas goodies pack for LittleBigPlanet™! Buy it and you can get Christmas tree and present costumes, special stickers, decorations and fancy objects!
So it looks like those that wrapped up Sackboy is actually a costume, sweet! Great to see some official stickers & decorations being released for the first time too.
Look forward to seeing this on the EU and US stores next week.
Rex Crowle, Illustrator, Animator and general creator of all things beautiful has revealed what his favourite community level on LittleBigPlanet is so far.
This level really captured my imagination, its so far from the “look” we designed for the game - it reminds me of some of the old LCD Game-And-Watch handheld games I grew up with. And the use of the text (which they’ve made themselves) is really witty, the way it narrates the level structure, it’s almost like a music video.
Rex is, of course, the creative genius behind much of LittleBigPlanet‘s super-duperness, like that splendid intro video, those wonderful stickers and no doubt all sorts of other things we’re not aware of.
Normally, at this point, we’d embed a video here but as he mentions in his blog post, “I could be trying to get lots of traffic by shouting I HELPED DESIGN LBP“, so we’ll do just that and send him some traffic.
Check out his favoutite level, ‘Pixelated‘ over on his personal blog, Hairy Teeth.
Oh yes, and you can see more of Rex’s work over on his portfolio site too.
